I am Seth “Isaiah” Thomas and I want to represent you on Thornton City Council. Throughout most of my life, I have had the desire to be an inspirational leader for my community. As your next Thornton City Council Member, I will promote and champion for the needs and desires of my constituents. I will be a leader between our city, state, and national government. I believe it's time for me to give back to the community that helped give me so much.

There are three important considerations that have helped me to decide to seek your support for my campaign:

• Energy. We need a Council Member who has the energy and the drive to do this job. I will work hard and diligently with citizens, city staff, police, firefighters, and other governing bodies to make Thornton the best municipality in this state.

• Open Mindedness. We need an elected official who will listen to the community, city staff, fellow Council Members, and taxpayers. I am a forward-thinking, conscientious person who will represent Thornton, I want our city to be able to be revered throughout Colorado.

• Transparency.  We need a representative who will dispel the rumors of secret funds and manipulated budgets. I will make sure that you, as a stakeholder in this city, know where your money goes and what your elected officials are achieving with every dollar. It is the responsibility of your elected officials to know where the administration, and the staff that they hire stand on issues that affect your municipality and your tax dollars.​

Having lived in Thornton for 25 years, I have grown to be a successful and contributing member of our great city. I want every resident in Thornton to take advantage of the unlimited opportunities that our city has to offer. This truly is the greatest city in the State of Colorado. Leadership begins with listening, and I want to be the change we wish to seek, the change we need on Thornton City Council.
